“Prosperous Pig Figure” was produced by Xu Beihong in 1944. The figure described the harmonious family of three pigs to stand for prosperity and blessing, which expressed Xu Beihong’s feelings at that time. The master Xu Beihong produced few works which used the pig as a theme. His works about pigs are rare and precious, especially the “Prosperous Pig Figure” describing three pigs.
